Bio
Baba Olumo affectionately known as "Baba" is a Babalawo in the Isese tradition in Ifa and is crowned Ogun. His spiritual name given during his initiation into ifa is the "Savage Lion." He is also initiated in Voodoo, Palo, and Hoodoo in accordance with the desires of his ancestors.While he is a Babalawo, he identifies as spiritual and not religious because of his calling. He is called to use his spirituality and training to bring healing, life, and transformation to others.Baba received his Bachelor of Arts in communications, and has had a illustrious career before becoming a spiritualist. He has been a intern to Senator Robert Torricelli, worked for BET, and CDW.Com. He is also a member of the Fraternity, Iota Phi Theta.Baba is a family man and is married to a spiritualist who is also initiated in Ifa, and is a Priestess of Damballah Wedo in Voodoo. She is also a Hoodoo Practioner, and Priestess in Witchcraft.Baba and his wife have a spiritual house named "House of Olofi." They started this house to be able to use all their knowledge of many spiritual traditions to teach others who want to practice different paths of spirituality.It is a place where unity, love, knowledge, and honesty are present while maintaining the integrity of their different spiritual traditions. Hoodoo, Voodoo, Ifa, witchcraft, and Palo are taught in their spiritual house through mentorship.However, to be very clear, none of these paths are mixed. Never mix spiritual traditions. These paths are taught separately.
